RESEARCH ACCULTURATION SERIES (RACE) TALK

On Wednesday, 13 August 2025, the Faculty of Bioengineering and Technology (FBKT), Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK), successfully hosted a session of the Research Acculturation Series (RACE) Talk at Lecture Hall 1 (DK1), UMK Jeli Campus.

The event featured an invited speaker, YBrs. Dr. Hairil Rashmizal bin Abdul Razak, Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Health & Life Sciences, University of Exeter, United Kingdom, who shared his expertise and insights through a talk entitled:
“Application of Nuclear Technology in Medicine, Materials and Energy: Innovation for a Sustainable Future.”

The program commenced with welcoming remarks by YBrs. Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Sarizam bin Mamat, Dean of FBKT, followed by an engaging knowledge-sharing session rich with valuable information on the diverse applications of nuclear technology.

Highlights of the event included an interactive Q&A session, presentation of a token of appreciation to the guest speaker, and a group photo session with FBKT staff and students. The program concluded with a networking lunch.

May this insightful sharing open new avenues in research and inspire the UMK community to continue advancing in academia and innovation.
