Background

Introduction

Bioproduct and Bioprocessing Technology Research Group is a team specializes in developing innovative bioproducts and optimizing bioprocesses to promote sustainability and efficiency across various industries. Our interdisciplinary researchers work at the intersection of biotechnology, molecular biology, chemistry, chemical engineering, statistic, and environmental science focusing on creating environmentally friendly solutions to global challenges in health, agriculture, and manufacturing. Through cutting-edge research and collaboration, our group strives to advance the field and contribute to a more sustainable future.

Research Objectives 

  • To create new and sustainable bioproducts that help solve problems in health, agriculture, and industry.
  • To improve bioprocessing methods to be more efficient, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly.
  • To develop useful products in agrotech, biopharmaceuticals, and nutraceuticals using safe and natural materials.
  • To support sustainable practices by reducing waste and using cleaner technologies in production.

Research Impacts

  • Supports Malaysia’s sustainability agenda and aligns with the National Green Technology Policy by promoting cleaner production, circular bioeconomy, and low-carbon solutions.
